Why we exist
Most websites are shipped to be done. We ship websites to be lived in.
We started Haxtiv after a decade of working inside larger agencies and in-house teams. We saw the same pattern over and over: a brand pays for a redesign every two or three years because the previous one wasn't really a system — it was a sequence of templates with a logo glued on top.
We wanted to build the alternative: a small, senior studio that designs websites as systems and codes them as long-term assets. Sites that the in-house team can grow into for three or four years, not throw away after eighteen months.
That ambition shapes the way we hire, scope, design, build, and write. It's why we say no to projects we can't ship well, why our care plans get longer every year, and why we resist growing past the size where the founders can still know every project.

Every Haxtiv project is led by a senior designer and senior engineer. We don't run a junior bench. The people you meet on the call are the people who ship.

Design isn't decoration. Every project is treated as an editorial system — type, grid, motion, photography, empty states — built so the brand reads consistently from the homepage to the unloved corners.

We design and build with technical SEO from day one. Architecture, internal linking, schema, performance — not a panic step before launch.

If a project would be better served elsewhere, we say so. We pass leads to friends in the industry every week. The work we take on is work we believe we can ship well.

Most of our clients stay with us into year two. Maintenance, CRO, SEO retainers — quiet, monthly, calm. The site gets better the longer we run it.
